Terms of Service

1) Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using LANOSTA (the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2) Platform Nature (Marketplace)

LANOSTA is a marketplace that connects clients with independent beauty professionals (“Stylists”). Except where explicitly stated, LANOSTA is not the provider of services performed by Stylists; Stylists operate as independent contractors responsible for their listings, qualifications, schedules, and service quality.

3) Accounts & Security

• Provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities under your account.
• Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) in Account → Settings for enhanced security.
• We may verify stylist identities and credentials; submission of false documents is grounds for termination.

4) Bookings, Cancellations & No-Shows

• You can manage reservations in Account → Reservations.
• Each listing may define a cancellation window; outside this window, fees may apply.
• No-show policy: Stylists may mark no-shows and apply fees per listing rules.
• Stylists should honor confirmed bookings; repeated last-minute cancellations may lead to penalties or removal.

5) Payments, Fees & Refunds

• We process payments via supported providers. Some bookings may require a pre-authorization or deposit.
• Platform and processing fees may apply and will be shown at checkout.
• Refunds follow the applicable listing and local consumer protection laws. If charged without confirmation, contact support with your payment reference.
• Currency conversions are handled by the payment provider; final amounts may vary due to FX and bank charges.

6) User Content & Reviews

You are responsible for content you post (reviews, messages, media). Do not post unlawful, misleading, defamatory, or infringing content. We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

7) Intellectual Property

The Platform, brand, and original content are owned by LANOSTA and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

8) Acceptable Use

• No scraping, bulk data extraction, or automated account creation.
• No attempts to bypass security, rate limits, or payment flows.
• No posting of malware, phishing, or harmful code.
• No harassment, hate speech, or discrimination.

9) Disclaimers

Services are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”. Except where prohibited by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. LANOSTA does not warrant stylist qualifications beyond checks disclosed on the listing.

10) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LANOSTA shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, or data, arising from your use of the Platform.

11) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold LANOSTA and its affiliates harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Platform, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

12) Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate access immediately for violations, suspected fraud, or risk to users. You may close your account at any time from Account → Settings.

13) Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt (Cairo courts have jurisdiction), unless your operations target another jurisdiction (e.g., State of Qatar), in which case local mandatory laws may apply.

14) Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new Terms with the “Last Updated” date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
